ParkLiner's almost ready!

Greetings!
The Scamp is gone and the ParkLiner is going to be ready next week! Exciting! Anyway, I can't decide between curtains or the Bali blinds? Does anyone recommend one over the other? Chandler said curtains will let in more airflow when closed unlike the blinds. I can't find a pic of the Bali blinds. WWYD?
I'm having an awning installed as well. I hate to do it as the clean lines will be affected. But in the rain or hot sun will be nice. I guess with the rooftop AC it wont matter anyway.
Hope I've made a good decision with the ParkLiner. From my very limited viewing it seemed to have more interior space than the new Casita parked next to it and more roomy than my Scamp 16' for sure. Plus the upgraded trimout will be cool.
Any comments or opinions are welcome!
Tks

Could you let us know if you get a warranty in writing? I have only read about folks getting a verbal warranty from them on the forum here. I am talking about from Parkliner not the appliances that have their own warranty. Thanks and congrats

We're removing the curtains and installing blinds Tab. We've started, just not finished. We didn't have any trouble ordering blinds (or shades, whatever), but of course, they're special order being so short.

Could you please post a pic inside and out of the AC unit they're used? (Make and model # would be helpful as well.) I would also appreciate a pic of the compartment under the forward dinette seat. That is where our AC unit is now, and I want it out, so would be interested to see how they handled that space.

There is no question there is a lot of space in these trailers. Did you get the magic table too? We have had 10 people sitting in ours from next to the kitchen counter all the way around to the front dinette seat! And it is very difficult to bump your head...

Best of luck to you.

Frank

Good for you Tab! Can't wait to see pics, and see what you picked out for interior colors. Ours are a bit drab, but so it goes.

Good luck, and thanks!

Yea my Scamp was drab. I went with a light blue almost a turquoise. I want it as bright and cheery as possible!

OK.......Just took delivery of my new ParkLiner and could not be more happy and excited!!!
Chandler was a pleasure to deal with and took time, as expected, to go through the entire trailer and educate me on all of the features. The built in cabinets are even solid enough for Chandler to demonstrate a pullup on one! He actually opened a cabinet door, and pulled up his weight! My Scamp cabinet would have broken into pieces....
I basically got it loaded with the 11000 btu roof top AC, marine head with stainless steel sink, tile back splash, the Bali Blinds, bunk option, (my 10 year old daughter is excited about this!) crescent sofa, outside faucet, awning, dual batteries and propane, sport wheels, yadayadayada...

The rooftop AC IS reinforced. Its not just sitting on fiberglass. Chandler said the roof will easily support two men.
I'm really impressed by the build quality. It's really over built similar to a Pacific Seacraft sailboat. Which I can appreciate. I hate cheaply built products.
I can't wait to use it!! Standby for pictures.....

Woo hoo! Good for you Tab. Can't wait to see pics!

I wonder how the roof is reinforced for the AC? Hmmm...

It's the weekend Tab - get out and use it! And take a bunch of pics. You must have the first one with rooftop AC, or you're the first one we know about!

Enjoy!

Frank

Great pics Tab, thanks! Couple things, can you tell me what brand & model AC they put on? And can you take a pic of how it now looks under the front dinette seat? That is where the rest of us have our factory AC units!

Thanks! Go camping!

That is great Tab, and just what I hoped to see. Boy, I sure like the AC on top and another cabinet inside where all our AC units are now. Very cool (no pun intended).

So it's a Dometic AC unit, but the manual you took a pic of covers a number of models. I wonder if the top unit is this one? Dometic DUO THERM BRISK AIR CONDITIONER 13500 BTU Top Unit S/D - ..

And maybe this for the ceiling unit: Dometic Duo Therm Air Conditioner Brisk I Air Ceiling Assembly - ..

Thanks again Tab. Your new trailer is absolutely beautiful!

Frank

Very impressive. Thanks for the pics. I'm convinced. I've been lurking on this forum for awhile and watching the product improve and grow. We are looking at a similar build .I think we are ready to change the "shopping" part of the sig.

Aha! It's this one I think: http://www.adventurerv.net/dometic-duo-therm-13500-btu-penguin-low-profile-air-conditioner-p-716.html

I can't see the wood frame. I assume that is on the outside under and around the AC unit?

Boy, I wish I lived closer!

Take that baby out and do some camping this weekend Tab!

Thanks so much for posting all these photos.

Frank

A very clean and neat installation! I wish my ParkLiner delivered in June had the roof a/c and not the under seat one.

Have you been told the total height of your trailer with this a/c?

Did they put another escape window in place of the roof one?

Congratulations on your new ParkLiner!

Happy camping
