Saw this on a recent trip. Owner says made in Belgium, aluminum body, fiberglass top.

Call it a "Hybrid Fiberglass TT"....or....."Aluma-Glass".

Next comes Carbon Fiber!!!!

They made these half-and-half trailers for a while before switching to all-fiberglass constuction.

Neat combination, somewhat like the Eriba trailers. A molded fiberglass top, that wraps over the sides eliminates more than 50% of the possible leaks. There are a few Toyota Motorhomes stickies built that way that have an excellent reputation for being leak resistant.

Andrew; thanks for the info. The owner said what it was but I didn't remember. I was sure someone here would know. Bob Miller; looks like the other 50% possible leaks were around the windows from what I saw. Cool looking little trailer, I liked it.

Yep, but all trailers have an equal opportunity to leak around the windows, it's that right angle corners between the roof and sides that kill stickys and having a moulded cap over the edges is a huge improvement. I sometimes think that sticky builders don't do that as then the trailers would last to long and reduce resale's??? LOL
