not yet - but I have a feeling it will be on the list for the next car purchase... only advantage to commuting a hundred miles a day is that you "get" to change cars around fairly frequently!

We are very happy that our Scamp that has given us so much fun the past three years, is going to a new home where the fun will continue! The 13' is such a great size for ease of travel, setup, and yet has virtually everything you need to eat, sleep and stay safe from the bears!

The big question is will Carol still be posting all the "For Sale" trailers she finds all over the Internet?

So now we get the fun of waiting a few months for our next trailer, which we are thinking will be a Casita 17', or if a used Burro if one pops up.

The funny thing is we transfer our trailer to Carol, and she transfers her looking for a trailer to us! A "win-win" indeed!

Carol,
Soon the adventure will begin.
Next step...a tug and outfitting it for safe and efficient travels.
The saga of "as the wheels turn" continues.
Please keep us posted about progress.

The little pupper has arrived!

She's just gorgeous and happily living at the local storage yard! Today I can stop by on the way home from work and give her a little kiss....

Carol,
NOW you can can make it yours! Your selection of food in the cupboards, silverware in the drawer, dust ruffles, different curtains, throw rug to fit your color preferences, your own pictures on the walls...or

Anticipation continues, & it can be a tantalizing, frustrating part of the process. Particularly if you have the cart before the horse. We did it that way, but even though "Nuestra Casita" was essentially ready for the road we had extensive frame mods in mind. The delay was a little more bearable as a consequence. Even without a tug, we could see progress being made.

Have fun selecting a suitable tow vehicle. Remember, it should be comfortable so you won't be completely worn out after a day on the road. Minimal blind spots and good rear view mirrors are essential both on the road and when backing your new acquisition.

Please share the surprises. We all love to hear about the un-anticipated events which are an essential part of the learning curve. They are what add exciting spice to the adventure. and sometimes
