This is cool! Never heard of it before. Is this what it is sold and marketed for, chip protection?

Why did you peel it off? Was it coming off, did it bubble, etc. Looks like it could help with rock chips.

Send a message via Yahoo to Darwin Maring
It works on Rims and just about anything else you can think of and comes in many colors. Plastic Dip makes it also.

So to reapply do you need to spray a new coat on?

If you needed to peel off to clean and wax, I assume that the spray on product does not form a tight seal? This product sounds really good, BUT, costly if peeling and reapplying are necessary frequently.

You can leave it on...

Guy's .....I put it on just for protection for a trip...it can be left on for the year if you want....it's about $7 a can.

Me..I'm just kind of crazy about cleaning and polishing..

I understand that the product can easily last several years. It is made to peel off. Some have used it as a quick paint color change that is reversible. Look it up online and watch the you tube video. It is pretty neat stuff. I'm thinking of painting a tongue box orange with it.

BillE, think it's thick enough to stop road stones from chipping the gel coat? Did you tape it off to stop any over spray?
