A friend of mine is looking at this Peer Mini Trailer. I didn't see it in the index.

Does anyone else have one?

I thought I was going to be the only one with a pop up center (Compact Jr.) in my camping group. Oh well... LOL...

Oh man, yet ANOTHER Compact sibling! They must have sold a MILLION of these things, huh? hehehe Is anybody keeping track, isn't that like 7 variations now???
1. Compact Jr
2. Compact II
3. Hunter I
4. Havasu
5. Family Wagon
6. TrailsWest Campster
7. Peer Mini

Wasn't there an Astro in there somewhere too? Did I miss any guys? And aren't most of the variants from the Compact Jr mold? I think that only the Compact II and the Hunter I share the more aerodynamic-looking mold, right? Hunter Industries really got their money's worth out of manufacturing these!hehe

Well if anybody buys this rig, share lots of pictures with the rest of us, K?

I see the air conditioner is mounted on the tongue and the body was cut below the table for the "window". I'm a little nervous about water leakage there.

I sure wish it was a lot closer to me -- I'd like to see it too!

Interesting...it doesn't have the walls at the end of the kitchen area. I thought those were needed for roof support.

I posted some info back in October on a 1972 Traveleze Travel Lite, thought it looked like a Compact/Hunter clone. It was an eBay listing, long since dead... but I snagged a picture of the brochure. Like other clone of other brands, there's probably a whole lot more out there that we don't know about. And yes, more pictures would be nice!

Hey Lizbeth,
You're right, I had noticed how open it looked in the pics, but didn't connect why until you pointed that out! I agree, I thought that the cabinetry and such was an integral part of the roofs support, but then it also seems like someone had mentioned some of our rigs having support ribs in the ceilings? Another reason we'd all love to see this thing in person huh? hehe

Donna D, GOOD CATCH on that brochure pic for the other possible Compact clone! The more time goes by, the more we learn about all the FBRV's huh? hehe

My friend bought the trailer... I'll have him send more pictures.
The pop up goes up about 2x higher than mine on the compact.
He thinks it he will bring it to camp dearborn in milford michigan for the Tin Can Tourists Rally.

Anyone going to that rally?

Trailer: U-Haul

hi to all its been a long time since i have been on here. back when i had a few uhauls. i bought this camper to pull behind my minivan. my big truck is broke now. just needed an exuse to tell my wife so i could buy another camper. some of you may hate me for this, but im thinking of putting this on the front of a flat bed trailer with polaris rzr behind it (egg toyhauler) i would keep it on its frame, maybe just take the axel off for now. also would like to have it painted to match the rzr red and black.
what you all think. will post pics soon
