Yet another confirmation that NS4.7 just won't cut it anymore (upgrade those browsers!) Murph is a beauty - one of my favorite breeds. Great picture! :)

Thomas & Janifer
Yes, he does. He also plays checkers, but he's not really that smart because I can beat him three out of four games.

Rotties
Hey, Robert. Murph sounds like a cool dog. We've been acquainted with a couple of other sweet Rottweilers - but your Golden Arches claim is a new one! (I do believe it, though; it's amazing what a smart dog can figure out! That's one reason our Zina NEVER gets a nibble of a sandwich or anything else that's on MY plate!)
What, Jana? You think Murph can take Robert 50 percent of the time?

Our Adoptees
Here are Cricket and Cosmo. Guess which is which. A hint, Cricket is also known as Dirty Girl. She loves to just kick back and roll in the dirt, so I included one of her looking a little neater. The one of Cosmo was taken at Ralph River on Vancouver Island. (If you know that area, you may notice that the picture is reversed. Don't know how that happened). They both love the trailer, but only come inside for cookies and hanging out in the evening, then they move to their quarters in the 4Runner. We've also camped with a bird or two, but only have the two dogs now.

I got to get a wee dog to take camping...and play checkers.
I know murph could beat me at checkers 75 % of the time.

New family addition
I got Danny from the Grant County Humane Society. He had been in jail for a while, but went his bail.
He's a mix. His wardens called him a Golden Retrieve/Chow mix. I don't see either in him. He looks part Basenji to me, but he can bark.
He's about a year old and weighs 35 lbs (15.88 kg).

Good looking dog Morgan! About the same size as our Maggie Mutt, it appears.
We, too, rescue dogs from the dog pound. I ask "who's on the kill list" and pick one from there!

Good looking dog Morgan. I can see some Chow in him but the only thing Golden Retriever is his colour.
If your local Humane Society is like ours, anything black and tan is a Shepherd mix, if its gold its a Golden Retriever mix, if its black its a Lab mix.
But when it comes down to it, who cares what they are, we love them anyways.

My Dad used to call a dog of indeterminate geneology a Secret Service Dog ie a Police Dog in disguise.:lol2
Of course, if his name is Danny then he is probably Irish. Possibly Irish Setter crossed with Irish Wolfhound :loltu
Just send my Tire Leveler to my home address.:reye2

Pretty, pretty dog!
My guess is he's Japanese - he looks exactly like the breed standard for Shiba Inu (sp ?). Pretty boy!:lol

Larry,
I hope you're wrong about the wolfhound part, those guys are BIG.
You'll have to arrange for a motor freight carrier to pick p you tire leveller, that thing is HEAVY. :o

Susan C,
You are so right. I see a lot of resemblance. That's what I'll call him.
Now maybe our friend Aki will log on and tell us what Shiba Inu means. :reye2

The face is a giveaway - check with some breeders - all I know about the breed is that pretty face! Larry can have the leveller - I don't even know what one is! :conf

No wolfhound
I've owned Irish wolfhounds and this fellow shows no relationship whatsoever. You're safe there! Looks like a Mongolian Marmot Hound to me. Also looks like a smart cookie! (The look seems to say, "Hmmm, this guy's a pushover!") Enjoy each other.
