Pets

Okay, folks. To start this off, here's a picture of my trusty look-out. Although he hasn't been RVing yet, he soon will, so I'm training him to find fellow fiberglassers. He's a 70lb 1 yr old Malinois Mix that I adopted...or should I say adopted me. I was looking for a lap dog to RV with me. Ah...he's just a little big for that, but what the heck, he picked me!

OK, I gotta show you my Buddy...

3 months old when we got him.

Today, 21 pounds. It took me a year to teach him to bark. Does not shed and has never growled as far as I know.

Loves people (too much).

With Buddy we have a rule - “Eat dry or die”.
(:u Now if I could learn that.)

Buddy is a “cock-a-poo”.

CUTE!

That's what I wanted...and you see what I got. Oh, well. Rusty's going to make a great camping companion. He already loves to ride in the car and is better than most kids! Just curls up and goes to sleep while toodling down the highway. He's also my silent alarm. Someone said he must have Besenji in him as he really does not bark and when he does, he is very quiet. He loves people, which will make him a great camper, as long as no one messes with me...then I make no guarantees. As I said, he adopted me, so he thinks he owns me. ;)

Maggie in front of the fire

Maggie, sleeping in the front of the cast iron stove, on Pam's leg, dreaming of campouts to come .... she also occasionally dreams of the time she met up with that cute little Buddy in Colorado ... or swimming with Queenie at RMNP.

Whoops

Whoops, and I forgot to mention that Maggie dreams about the time she met up with Mary F's dogs ... but Mary will not let me discuss the location or campground or any of the details. It's a secret.

Our camping bunny

Here's a photo of our camping companion this past summer. His "mother", our 16 year old daughter didn't want to leave him at grandmas so..... He was a great little camper and loved to sit outside with us. Campfires didn't impress him though. We had to put him in the trailer then.

Campfires not impressive

Nancy, our Wild Women don't like campfires, either. It's funny, too, because Zina (the short haired one) just LOVES the little ceramic heater. But a fire in a fireplace? Nothin' doin'!

:P

Maggie's a service dog?

How'd her photo get to be wider than 500 pixels?

Special rules for service dogs? :hap2

Bun

Mary
Isn't it bizarre that the dogs wouldn't like the fireplace. Maybe it takes them back to their wild ancestory. Your girls are adorable.:wub We had dogs once and would love one again BUT guess who is allergic?:cry Sometimes I think they'd get rid of me to have a dog. Ha Ha

Bun, yea I know, not very original but there's a storey to that, loves the cold. When we have the air on in the house he sits on the ducts, and now that the cold weather is here he sits against the outside door. He'es a funny bunny:laugh
