Photos from the trip home

Again many thanks to Lisa and I'm glad I could give the trailer a good new home. It was really a blast going down to Austin to pick her up. And even more fun on the way back. So here are the few photos I took on the trip back, even though it had to be a little quick since I had to get back before one of my co-workers left for his vacation.

Good photos

Thanks for posting the photos. You did all the driving, and we got to do all the sightseeing!
Beautiful country you were driving through. Where was the location with the forested land?

Congratulations.

I think we've been over some of those roads recently. Could you tell me what routes you took to get back to Washington? And some of the places you stayed.

Here's the route I took back home.

It was a mix, I stayed in a rest stop near Clayton NM on the way up and then in the KOA in Moab and in Boise. It was nice having power and WiFi in the KOA's even if their wifi networks are kind of slow.

Great.
Our trip to New Orleans was from Salem, to Reno, then Death Valley, south to I-10. Across to New Orleans. Return was north in LA then across to Dallas, south back I-10 where we met a sand storm. Across the NM, AZ then back up through Reno. The landscape looks pretty much the same. We sure did enjoy it.
Hope you get a chance to do it again only at a much slower pace. It took us 3 months.
