You got that right!
Some would say enjoy it while it lasts but speaking from experience time invested like that earns interest that lasts a lifetime.
Dad is a title that is earned...congratulations!

Our daughter, now married with her own children, still speaks of the times I would spend playing catch with her and of the trips to games later when she got to play on the senior girls travelling team. Those times and moments brought us closer together and will last a lifetime.
Enjoy every minute of your adventure.
Jim

My oldest is 20. My youngest is 8. We spend more time playing video games then catch. But spending time with the kids, even the 20 year old, is the highlight of my day. They seem to enjoy it too.

Ditto! For me it's 10 & 11 year old sons. I wouldn't trade a minute of it for all the money in the world, and man I'm gonna miss it when it's gone.

$150 for a glove & bat is a pretty good deal let alone cleats and uniform. When my son got out of baseball after graduating from high school in 2007 the bat alone was $350. It was an expensive sport but I really miss watching him play.

WOW $12,000 per year for Private School? What is wrong with the Public School System, which you are already paying for on your property taxes?

Rick, we could tell you, but we aren't supposed to get into that sort of discussion around here. We "home schooled" my daughter (an hour per day at most!) for 2.5 years because she was doing so poorly in public school (Ds and Fs), and when she went back after that time (so she could graduate normally) she got Bs. My son sends his two girls to private school also, and I'm glad.

The small, poor rural county we live in has the lowest rated schools in the state. We take her to the neighboring county where we work to school. It was a decision we made to live where we want. I do not regret the decision, the school is fantastic and has been very good for her.
