Hello Benny K and Alice;

I too was praying as I read your request. My prayers are with all of you, your wife, and the surgeons as well, to guide their hands and give them knowledge. Prayer is powerful and I'm so glad you asked for ours. God Bless and take care of you. Chari

p.s. The picture above is precious.

I can't begin to tell you how many times I have had prayers answered. How blessed we are in this country to be able to freely communicate about our love and need for God. We will keep you both in our prayers.

Benny,
I haven't been on the forum for a long time.. so didn't read this before the time I know your wife must have had surgery. But am thinking of you both and pray that the surgery went well, your wife recuperates and you n your family get through this difficult time.

I've many friends and relatives who've fought this scourge of cancer, and your Alice sounds like someone who is a fighter and has made the most of her life.

Bless you all.

Leanor

Thanks for the prayers. ....the operation was successful so far and was for a large lemon sized brain tumor in the right front lobe .....according to a doctor friend, if you have a brain tumor, that`s about the best place to have it in relation to the effects of it......she had a similar operation in a different part of the brain 50 years ago and doctors, even today, were surprised that she survived that one for that amount of time......apparently operations of that type were in their infancy then........we still have to wait for the results of the malignancy/ benign tests which will take 1-2 weeks, but the neuro-surgeons said that the tumor looks benign, so hopefully that will be the end result....otherwise she`ll need radiation or chemo later.......Thanks again

Benny, Good to hear Alice came through the operation well. We all will be keeping you both (and any extended family members) in our thoughts as you go through the recovery process. Alice sounds very like my late mom.... a woman strong and able to take on whatever comes in life.

Take care... Leanor
