Thanks for the prayers. ....the operation was successful so far and was for a large lemon sized brain tumor in the right front lobe .....according to a doctor friend, if you have a brain tumor, that`s about the best place to have it in relation to the effects of it......she had a similar operation in a different part of the brain 50 years ago and doctors, even today, were surprised that she survived that one for that amount of time......apparently operations of that type were in their infancy then........we still have to wait for the results of the malignancy/ benign tests which will take 1-2 weeks, but the neuro-surgeons said that the tumor looks benign, so hopefully that will be the end result....otherwise she`ll need radiation or chemo later.......Thanks again
