Vendor still didn't reply regarding Probec manufacturer. Thanks for the clarification Joybell. Wonder if the outside table is simply a camping table? Whichever it may be, it's a really attractive trailer.

One big difference from all the other eggs, other than it being more square, is that it looks to have a separate door frame that fits into the upper and lower body halves. Which might answer some of the sealing issues I've read about on some trailers here.

Someone in St. Louis needs to take a road trip and add this to his driveway collection. Now I'm not naming names....

I'm guessing the manufacture was Roulotte, they now make small stick built trailers sold as Prolite. Ultra light trailer Mini 13 : Roulottes Prolite
Neat little trailer though!

And the response from the PROBEC owner was:"cette compagnie nexiste plus merci" [This company no longer exists, thank you."] He didn't provide any other details so...I thanked him and wished him luck in selling his lovely little trailer. Guess anyone wanting detailed information would need to phone.

Import-export Probec International inc. - pneus et accessoires pour remorques, vtt, véhicules d'agriculture, otr et camions

Welcome to Import-Export Probec's new Website.

Probec is one of the leaders in the canadian tire industry since 1985.

We offer all types of tires such as ATV, trailer, truck, farm, agricultural, industrial and OTR. We have a full range of inner tubes starting from 4" to 46". In addition, we distribute steel and aluminium rims and all trailer parts and accessories.

My guess is that Probec built a prototype but decided not to go into production with it.

Hmmm...still like that little trailer. Prototype? Maybe then it is really well made? I can read French better than I can speak it and the trailer is quite a distance away. We own a dairy farm and are too busy with harvest right now to take the time to go see it (would take up a whole day in between chores). Maybe if it is still available in November........
