Ya, I watched it, but I think I said something like "well gee whiz, that's pretty bad" or something similar. (I don't think we'll talk about "similar" here.)

What a horible waist of fuel. I could have kept my trailer heated all winter with that gas.

I saw a training film a few years back where a similar situation occurred in the US. I believe in Arizona or California. When the tank failed the fireball engulfed several firemen who were several hundred feet away. I believe it also got the camera man. None of them survived.

Watching propane tanks burn is not a safe spectator sport. If you ever happen to be in an area where this is happening don't wait, like the average stupid citizen, to be evacuated or told what to do by the authorities. Even if you are three blocks away. LEAVE. Take your kids, your grandkids, your dog if you can catch him, forget about your junk. Just GO. If your existance depends on finding out all about what happens then read the newspaper the next day.

A friend of mine is a reserve fire guy and has a propane facility in his area that's very near a highway. They have plans and training for scenarios about a propane problem, esp a truck veering off the road into the facility. My plan would be to get outta town fast!

This one is more like what I would have done back when beer was involved in my activities. In fact, I don't remember the propane, but a lot of this flick has some deja vu...
