After putting money into your trailer, this must be how to get it back out...

Mobile ATM

I'm not sure I'd trust this thing with my card and PIN #, but it does put a new spin on drive-up banking.

After I tried to get $300 out of a brand-X ATM at a 7-11, and it gave me a receipt but NO cash (Schwab covered it), I never, ever use a non-bank ATM. If it doesn't say Wells Fargo, Bank of Ammrica, etc., it's a slot machine and I ain't playing!

Nearly anyone can purchase an ATM machine, and because of that they're found in nearly every convenience store across the nation. There was an article on one of the news web sites a couple months back about it, and the tie-in to identity theft. It seems those privately own machines capture not only your name but bank account info... for obvious reasons so you can get cash or account balances. A unscrupulous ATM owner could drain many accounts in a very short period of time (a huge return is possible from the purchase/rental of an ATM). Consequently, I only use bank owned ATMs.

That would sure save a lot of destruction around here from thieves who wrap a chain around the one in the convenience store
and yank it out through the glass window.
