Putting the Casita away for the summer..

Just about the time everyone is getting theirs out we are putting ours away. Spent the weekend at Hueco Tanks SP and it's just starting to get really hot down here. Normally May would be the end of our season but I have several work related trips in May so we have to put the trailer to bed for the summer.

Summer down here in West Texas is time for doing all the chores I've beeen putting off since last summer.. (-:}

We don't live too far from Hueco Tanks....more than likely, we don't live too far from you either.

Lord Willing & New Mexico Doesn't Catch Fire Soon: We hope to taking our Scamp out to find some cool temps.

Lot Cool Alpine Areas not too far from West Texas over here in New Mexico. Lot of Texans are often in them. Ha!

Chores should be done in cool weather, I'd think. Always a good excuse for me anyway. Ha!

We had a good time last summer in the Santa Fe Area.

Trip to Cool Off

I love the area around Cloudcroft but I have a hard time with the summer crowds. Hard to get reservations and such. We have an old house we're slowly updating so we save our summer months for working inside. As soon as the kids go back to school, we'll be back on the road. I try to save the bulk of my vacation for late sept-early nov. My favorite time of the year to out and about.
