Question on Scamp repair person/shop in southern bay area CA

Hi All,
I need to get someone to put on a sway bar and put in a new converter on my new Scamp 16S. Does anyone recommend anyone in the Bay Area, like maybe in San Jose area? I live in Los Altos so on the peninsula.

Perhaps a U-Haul center (yes, the same people you rent a $20/day van from) could install a sway bar. They installed our hitch system and they frequently do this.

What’s wrong with your converter?

It makes enough noise so I can't sleep next to it. Seems to be an internal fan in it. Scamp is replacing because it is a new trailer.

It is an easy swap if you are comfortable with the electrical work.

But be advised that most RV converters have fans to cool them off under heavy load. If the converter is undersized in its capacity, then the fan might run a lot. If it is properly, or oversized, then generally speaking the fan wont run much at all. Since it is a new trailer we should assume that the converter is the right size (capacity). So unless you are running a lot of 12 volt stuff including charging a well depleted battery, I would not expect to hear the fan come on often. In fact I have a light load on my converter and I dont think I have heard the fan come on once in two years. If your converter fan runs continuously there might well be something wrong with it. But if its only occasionally then that is likely normal operation.
