True, wood cabinets darken the interior. On the 19, the dinette is larger (than the 17, particularly if you have the bath model) and the windows may be larger too.

If Casita built a larger trailer my search would be over but I don't see that happening any time soon.

In your case, you are fine as you already have a nice trailer. To others that ponder and don't have a trailer, they are losing out on the enjoyment to be had camping. None of us know how much time we have, I am not delaying enjoyment (you aren't either)!
