Did anyone else catch Travel Channel's "R.V. Crazy" last night???? They had a lot of strange rigs and all, but what caught my eye was the section on Tin Can Tourists. There, they had a 1961 Trailorboat in which they showed how the boat top came off, and tear drop insides of the camper. While they were panning the campground I also spotted a 13' Boler and a 13' U-Haul camper. There were several interviews with the RV owners too........very interesting show if you ever get a chance to watch it.

Mary is just pointing out that it's one of Chris' photographs on the home page for the site.

Yes Mary, I am so happy to have made the home page photo! Sure was a wonderful time camping at the Grand Canyon. Back to RV Crazy........there sure were some strange units on there. They had the same "trouble" as us with the small fiberglass units of those wanting a tour, insight, and just the fun visiting. I always love giving tours whenever asked. Fred, I take it this episode was a rerun since you have it taped. I actually had met one of the tin can tourist.....the fellow who has had his trailer for 56 years. They were camping at Highlands Hammock in Sebring, Florida during Scampcamp (2004 I think). I got to tour their trailer which was like a museum on wheels. Had a wonderful visit with them.
