On the topic of cold...

I picked one of these smaller 700watt radiant heaters today and set it on low....I'll keep you posted of how effective it is in our 25RQ in storage for now. Seems nice and compact, RV ready if you will. I'm not sure why, I just prefer this type to a ceramic style w/fan. Footprint is about 4 inches by 12 inches by about 14 inches high.

The company is called Air Works and it's sold through various blue collar retailers like Wal Mart for $35-40.00 or cheaper online perhaps.

I've got a 1500 watt (about 5100 BTU's) heater in my Scamp 16, and it will raise the temperature of my camper about 30 - 35 degrees above ambient. If this isn't enough, the 12,000 BTU propane furnace will pump out the heat and warm the camper in any circumstance.

700 watts is about 2,400 BTU's. This will not be enough heat to keep you warm in your trailer in temperatures below freezing, but it will ease the load on your propane furnace. For temperatures above 40 or 50 degrees (f) this heater should supply plenty of heat.
