Just Curious
Is your member name your real name?
I know that some people don't use their real name.(Just to be more careful on the net)

Yes and you would be surprized by how fast we can tell if your not who you say you are. You always give yourself away.

Yes, this is my real name. On other social websites I have used a made up screen name sometimes, but even then it has had part of my name in it. I've never been one to have some 'incognito' name, like saying my name is Phil, or Jack, or something else... If I have to be that secretive, maybe I don't need to be on that site? hehe

Yes. I followed the directions, especially since I agreed with the reason given.

I have had experience with assuming aliases; even before their proliferation on the internet. An alias usually means that you have something to hide from the people that you are interacting with while under the alias. The people I have actually met here are the most genuine and trustworthy people I have ever met anywhere. There is a lot of value in that, and I am better able to value myself because of it. Most aliases are created out of fear. I don't ever want to live under that kind of fear again.

YUP--- at least half of it is my name, and the reason I know this, is that is what is on my belt buckle. Larry

Yup. At my stage in life I might not remember an alias user name.... Also, I followed directions.

Since my actual last name is very long, I decided it might be more descriptive to add where I'm from instead.

OK! I've done nothing wrong and have no reason to lie.
I've used the name given on my birth certificate.
Are you saying my parents were wrong?

Oh me! Oh my!
