The story of how the Relic came to be was being covered here almost a year ago and then the builder dropped off our radar. Good to see that they have a production prototype (?) hope to hear more from them in the future.

I saw this on Facebook too - on the page for the Lynden,WA Vintage Trailer Rally which took place over this past weekend. We were going to attend, but a bicycling mishap took DH out of action for awhile. Would really have liked to have seen this cool trailer in person. Do wish the builder(s) would get back on here and tell us more. Pics of the interior would be neat to see too.

Thanks Pam for posting this I was asked on Saturday to post some photos of the trailer here but I did not have a US data plan for this meet.

The trailer was officially unveiled at the Mount Baker Vintage trailer rally held in Lynden Washington this week-end. They worked late on Thursday night and into Friday to get the interior completed in time.

Relic Trailers will have a webpage up shortly but they wanted to get the first one completed and unveiled at this rally before putting it on line. In the meantime call 503-893-5025 or email Relictrailers@Gmail.com

So here are some additional photos taken of the trailer! It is cute!

More Pictures of the interior. NOTE the buyers of these trailers will have lots of chooses to make regarding the customizing of the interior to meet their wants/desires. This will not be a cookie cutter type trailer where you only get to choose the fabric......

Love the look and the color! The only thing I am not fond of is the front window, I just see myself driving at 60 mph in the rain and opening the door to a waterfall (I could be wrong)

Keep in mind that Trilliums have had front windows like that for years as well as many other vintage trailers and many of them don't have a rock guard either.

Am I correct that the interior wall covering is some kind of thin wood paneling? Definitely has a "canned ham" vibe without the canned ham headaches.

Wonder where they sourced the old-style square jalousies? Someone in another thread was looking for a supplier recently to replace a Boler window that had been removed for AC.

Dark wood and small windows wouldn't suit me, but I'll have to admit- it's got style! If they can keep costs reasonable and quality at or above industry norms, I predict they'll do well.

Per eMail from RELIC: Base entry price is $16,000 and there are no standard interiors, each one will be custom built to the buyers specification and design.

They are currently quoting 8 weeks delivery

All I can say is "Wow"! Something that cute and built to each customer's needs/wants sounds like a successful combination to me.

.
Yes the wood on the ceiling is wood paneling - similar to how a number of older Tin Can trailers are done. The interior was done by a Vintage trailer company in Washington State thus the "canned ham" look to it.

I love, love, love the extra kitchen counter space! But would prefer larger windows also. Outside design is super.

Lets hope they will step up to the plate with customer service, warranty work, and quality control unlike a few other small fiberglass startups.

Our canned ham had a jalousie front window...it leaked everywhere BUT the front window. Never had an issue there.
