Renting an TT in So Lake Tahoe.. it's a tad different

We sat down with Ed Acker, owner of Acker RV Rentals, at the Tahoe Valley Campground in South Lake Tahoe. Acker RV Rentals offers an unique service in which they deliver and set up a RV to most of the campgrounds in the Reno/Tahoe area. They have Travel Trailer, 5TH Wheels and Class C in various sizes ready to go. The RVs are stocked with cooking utensils, towels and linens, basically ready to start camping. Our friends have used his company and they loved it! It’s just a great way to experience camping in a RV without the hitching, towing and setting up. It’s a great idea, especially if you are visiting the Lake Tahoe area.

WOW what a deal. For the cheapest night stay I would have to spend about 80 nights in my trailer. Let's see at over 100 nights per year, current rate I'm using my trailer it would take .8 years to pay for may trailer. Hummm

Not everyone wants to own a trailer, but would occasionally (like once a year) likes the camping experience and I think this is a good compromise. We have a couple of places that rent and setup in Oregon too.

I don't want to own the ship, but like to go on a cruise!
