mutual respect. easy to say...harder to put into action. here, on this forum, it is non-competitive, collegial and like one big happy family....and because the moderators are great over-seers who nip trouble in the bud. and do a fantastic job of it, too!

i, too, have been on other RV forums and have left quickly because there was no respect, there was sarcasm and frankly snotty responses. why would i stay and be insulted??? nope. but here----we're like 60's hippies...it's a happy family love-in ....without the wacky tabacky and flowers in our hair.

It seems like egg camper types are not so competitive, Type A, keep up with the Jones personalities. That helps to keep things a little calmer.

Although it's hard not to do new mods when the jones show us such neat ideas!

Thank you Mods, we do appreciate all the work you put into this site. Another thing i love about this site sort of goes along with the jones's as well but we arent' all going out and purchasing newer bigger campers. (and more power to you if you do) but so many of us are finding just what we want and helping each other fix up the oldies. OR not so old just in need of TLC. I do go to a couple of the other sites for Casitas and i like them but for some reason i sort of use this as home base. I love the diversity of the different kinds of campers and seeing what everyone does to their egg. Fiberglass RV rocks!

Ed if you had a few more flowers in your egg, you wouldn't need the mood lighting!

I think it is question of Branding though?

I prefer what the Lighting says as opposed to what Flowers might Scream!

Not that there is anything wrong with that!

I have to say that, although we have had a few problems over the years, on the whole this site is such a friendly place because you members are friendly, respectful, and helpful folks. Thanks to all for participating and helping to make this site your favorite!

Thanks, too, for this bit of positive feedback - the Moderating team are mostly volunteers, and it is great to hear our efforts are enthusiastically received.

By the way, this reminds me: FiberglassRV.com will be 10 years old, later this year. I think that's pretty good!
