Ripped off!
3/4 of a century behind me and it has happened. I answered an ad on Kijiji for a carpenter/handyman to rebuild the two-piece table for the Trillium 4500. I lost his 'phone number and cannot contact him. His ad has been removed, he has not returned or tried to contact me. I have contacted Kijiji and they say there is nothing they can do. Other [reputable] contractors can't offer any leads. So, the rig is ready to roll, sans table. I was gonna sleep in the lower bunk anyway. Who wudda thought......
Does anyone have a table for sale or any diagrams, homemade plans, specs etc. for building another table?
BTW, I'm okay with this. It's my fault. I screwed up and perhaps he needed the table more than me.
Scouter Dave.

If you ever called him or he called you the phone number records are probably available. I hope this helps!

DANG! Dave, the table starts as a simple piece of plywood. Maybe the back area is a different width than the front, but this can be a DIY. It's not highbrow cabinetry work, truly.
Start with a big piece of stiff cardboard to get the dimensions you need.
I'm thinking there will be no two trailers of the same vintage with the same, exact dimensions....

Interesting how when someone gets ripped off we all hurt for that person. Sorry that happened to you, Dave.

Did you pay him up front?
Maybe he just lost your phone number too. Or maybe he got hit in a crosswalk.
Can't imagine somebody plotting to steal a piece of plywood.

Thanks for the suggestions and concern. I have a friend who works at the 'phone company, I will call him.
I have ideas for a new table and I know it is not a difficult task but the hardware is all gone too.
I did not pay him up front but we shook hands on the deal. Obviously that does not mean the same to him as it does to me. And he knows where I live. He picked up the old table here.
I do not anticipate the need for the use of the double bed so I can get by with my aluminium folding table for now.
I'll keep you posted. SD

Dave, we are at different ends of the country, but I do have a spare table. It is heavy, big, and it may not be in mint shape. The year is also important, the table changed after 1977.
If you are interested, PM me.

Table hardware
Alf, thanks for that link. I have visited the web page. I do not have NH in my plans for my next trip but I could cut through the US on the way home.
I will contact them so see if they have anything.

Hi: Scouter Dave... They are a Virtual Co. and a phone call to their 1-800-644-4620# will be better than a visit to Montpelier Vt. I know this as I tried to look them up while passing thru several yrs. ago!!!

Dave, if you want to have Vintage Trailer Supply ship the table parts to me in Michigan, I can bring them to Algonac with me.
Absolutely for sure I will, I promise, girl scouts honor.

Dave, I believe I have a 24"x 30" table with the hardware on it. The only piece I may be missing is the piece that mounts to the wall. It is made of oak stair treads glued together.
I'll check the details later in the day.
Safe travels.

Dave I just went down cellar and pulled out our former Sunline table. I'm missing the leg but I could create one for you if you like.
Outside of the leg hardware I do not have the wall brackets. The table is actually 2x2 feet. If you are interested you're welcome to it.
Safe travels.
