I saw these wind turbines off in the distance from I-20 in west Texas near Sweetwater.
It made me pull of the highway to get a closer look.

Thanx, Donna, for starting this thread - should be really interesting & informative.

Near I-40 near Groom, TX - this amazing site is worth a stop, regardless of your religious opinions - very inspiring. L 'n D

And....not too far north of the Longhorn is the San Xavier Mission. You have to go inside to see the restoration of the frescoes. World class!

Here are two of the many photos I took when Joyce and I toured Capper Canyon, Mexico. They were taken in 2000 before we got our Casita, but I though you might be interested.

I have almost the same exact picture at Stonehenge with my Element and Perris Pacer! (Oh, and it's on the WA side, near the Mary Hill Museum.)

Garden of the Gods -Colorado Springs, Getty Villa -PCH Malibu, Courthouse -Santa Barbara California, San Buenaventura Mission -Ventura, Flax Fields -Minot, ND and also the Canola fields but no space to attach photo. http://www.ndtourism.com/highResGallery/de...p;galleryID=116

I could not find our photo of "Geese in Flight" a large metal sculpture off the interstate by Regent, North Dakota. It would be a Number One Roadside Distraction, it got me to slow down and pull over to take a photo. However, I have never driven the Enchanted Highway to see his other sculptures which I see Kevin K has.

Red face

There is an old country church off US83 in ND, north of Minot, close to Minot AFB near Ruthville, again I can not find my photo, but I did a painting because of the mental impression it left me. However, I used this ND Tourism photo of a different building in another part of the state to do the painting. http://www.ndtourism.com/highResGallery/de...p;galleryID=457

Excuse the flash spot.

I think the BOI rally is there this September....it would be nice to get a report from an attendee, if we have one from FGRV

Thanks for sharing the photos Adrian.
