I was so proud of coining "The Road Toad" for my little green "towed" amphibian when we got it five years ago - until someone pointed out that Hodaka had named one model of their dirt bikes by the same moniker many years ago. ..Oh well...there's not much new under the sun, is there?

When we tried to import our Burro from Oregon into Canada, some official at the Registrar of Imported Vehicles told is we could not bring it into the country because it was not a trailer. The VIN showed it to be a motorcycle. After some bureaucratic wrangling we convinced them otherwise and now we have out beloved egg, named, of course, Harley.

Toad, because ..... it's obvious.

Surprised there is only one other similar in this list so far.

However, after 20 years with the old rig we keep calling it the tent-trailer.

"The Pod" because we are as cozy as two peas in a pod in our Scamp 16'.

I call her "Berry", because she is all strawberry inside and out.

Well... Since every square inch of the interior of my 13' Boler is now covered with Pine Wainscotting, and with it's shape... It's The Pine Cone!

Our Scamp 13' is affectionately known as Eggbert. It seems to suit him.

Our first Trillium (green) we called Olive, round, green, seem appropriate. Our friends took to calling us 'Olive and the 4 pits'.

Now that we have Hazel (beige) our friends call us 'Hazel and the 4 nuts' =)

Unhappy

We live by the ocean and have a beach sort of theme going in our Bigfoot, so we've been calling her "The Sea Glass". However, if I don't watch it, I am going to keep finding cute bargains to put in her for camping, and she's going to have to be renamed the "Cram-A-Lot Inn" !
