Roof vent leak

So my boler roof vent when closed has a drip leak that is very annoying as it looks sealed where it joins onto the trailer top? Do I need to rip it out or is repairing it an option on these fiberglass trailers?

Is it leaking when it rains? Or are you getting drips from condensation inside?

If the former, try to locate where the leak is, then caulk that area on the outside.
If the latter, I cut a slab of dense, closed cell foam insulation to fit inside the frame.

If it's leaking when it rains, it needs to be pulled, cleaned up and resealed using Butyl. Don't just blob caulk on the outside. That is a temporary fix at most. And if you use the wrong kind of caulk you could turn a temporary fix into a permanent problem.

Is the vent leaking where it is sealed to the roof or is it leaking where the hatch seals against the body of the vent ? Or is it condensation as Wayne suggested ?
