Snoozy

We spoke with Alan last night at the RV show in Greensboro where he had the Lil Snoozy set up. His story, which I have no reason to doubt, is that all is well. Nick got a job offer that he couldn't refuse from a supplier LIL Snoozy used, gel coat, I think. Alan said fine, but if Nick was leaving, he would probably sell the business since he started it for Nick in the first place. Rick and Richard Mickle, another father and son, offered to buy the business as soon as they found out it was available; I believe Alan said he had known the father for years. Alan is staying on to make sure the transition goes smoothly. The sell agreement is such that both will gain if all goes smoothly. We met the new owners and they both seemed like fine men with great plans for Snoozy. My guess is that those unanswered calls and e-mails came while these decisions were being made.

We have sent an e-mail or two and made phone calls and did receive replies within a reasonable amount of time. Our overall experience has been very good. Having said that, DO camp nearby the first night. Try everything out. Most of us just can't take everything in during the walk through. Questions come up.

But from what I heard from Alan last night, great things are in the future for Lil Snoozy.

I can understand that.............lol
I started a business and ran it for five years intending it for my sons.
Then I realized they had no interest in it. So I closed my business and
continued with the jobs I had.

Things happen. We make plans, but life doesn't always follow our plans.

I've had mine since last April and I'm still getting to know it.
I took lots of pictures when I went to the factory. I may have annoyed the
workers, but I knew I would forget what I saw when I walked out the door......lol.

X2 on that ! We ran our business for 10 years for our DD's while DH worked a full time job! Times changed, girls got older wanted to do other things.

We ended up just closing down he continued his job and I did the same only then went full time.

There are times that the whole family misses the company we had...but they and us are glad that we did it the way we did.

We wish them the very Best for their company and their lives.
