RV Shows

Question -

My friend recently started selling marine vinyl online and last night he asked me if I have ever attended an RV Show. He asked me if it would make sense for him to get a booth at one of these events to show how easy it is to fix RV Seats with his vinyl. I personally have never attended an RV Show so I'm turning to the community to help me answer his question? Would this be a good fit for him? Have you seen other vendors like this at an RV show?

The largest rv trade show is held in Louiville Kentucky in December . Many venders and buyers are there but I don't know the cost to set up a booth .l think it would be quite expensive as many of the large suppliers and manufactures are set up there. You could contact RIVA for more info.

If he is out Quartzsite, AZ way for the next 10 days, that's where thousands from all around the country are.

I wouldn't think that many of the people attending an RV show where they would be looking at spanking new RVs with four flat screen TVs would be interested in recovering seats.

But his booth will have a lot of competition.

The right aisle of the Big Tent this morning.

You think there would be enough customers to cover 1/10th of the cost of the booth?

Thanks everyone for the great feedback. I passed it along to my friend David. You might see him at future shows. His business is called www.MarineVinylFabric.com. If you see him at a show. Stop by and say hi to him.
