RV's under the Christmas Tree

Here are a couple of RV's Judy got for Christmas. The metal ornament is about 4" long, The wall hanging is 16" square. Both were from friends and original sources are unknown.

I am wondering about the person who bought the Casita and had not told her husband. Then again, maybe she didn't put it under the tree and he still does not know!

Nice vintage ornament.

Bob,

VERY Nice!!! Love the ornament. Now that we own our first FG rig, I have noticed there is all kinds of cool stuff related to small travel trailers with some even FG specific.

Happy New Year,

Dean

The stuff in post #1 both came from that well known Trailer and Christmas Supply Centre, Swim World, also in Chelan, WA.

Yep, it's a typical winter business for Pool and BBQ supply shops. That gets a little slow when it doesn't get above freezing for weeks at a time.

swim world has nothing for camping

I went to their site and saw nothing for trailer camping or anything related.
Maybe you have a link to what you know they carry?

I live in fear that now that we've started on the journey of owning a vintage FGRV, a collection will begin--just cleared out most of my old pug collection, most of it gifts from folks who thought we needed more than just the live dogs. Each gift was treasured and fun, but when they filled an entire living room wall cabinet, they finally had to be cleared away. Kept only the cream de la pugs, and just hoping a new RV collectible collection doesn't start up!
But gosh, the ornament and wall hanging are SO CUTE! I LOVE miniatures!

BEST, HAPPY 2016

The Christmas items are seasonal in in-store only. I just cleaned out the inventory at the Chelan store, at 75% off, pics to follow.

Farm and Fleet in Wisconsin had vintage trailer ornaments, but had added either the Bears or Packets logo to them.

Here's a few more pics from my raid on the Swim World store this morning. The largest ones are glass, the middle size are tin and the small one are solid wood.
