Sad Day in Iowa Yesterday

They found the bodies of the two missing cousins yesterday who were abducted in July. I would not want to lose a child but to lose one in this manner would be beyond devastating.

I saw that news Cyndi. Sad for the family certainly and all those involved in the hopes of bringing the girls home safely.

It will be an interesting investigation around this case. The bodies were found about 20 miles from the lake where they were abducted, so it seems to be a local crime. I still have a feeling that the parents' criminal/drug pasts may come into play in regard to motive for this awful event. I hope what they did as adults didn't cause this to happen to the girls.

Ditto. The father was providing information to authorities for the benefit of himself and his pending hearing. What's that called? He may be singing a little louder now.

In my opinion it's just WRONG for a parent to outlive a child regardless if the reason for the premature death. Both our kids are alive and well so I can only imagine how hard it would be to lose a child.

It will be interesting to follow the investigation from here. Everything will be relived here for the family until there is justice and closure.

Its so sad and makes me more angry if the investigation shows that it was because of the parents' drug histories. What a load of guilt on their consciences, and hopefully there would be some legal recourse.
