Thumbs down

We toured Saguaro National Park East today, temps in upper 90s, for the first time. No camping allowed in the park but it is a great place to visit. The closest camping at Saguaro National Park East would be at Colossal Cave. There is camping close to Saguaro National Park West as well at Tucson Mountain Park, but the city of Tucson is in between them plus some other land. Colossal Cave Mountain Park permits overnight camping in the picnic areas. Be prepared to rough it (no hook-ups), and get close to the desert for one whole night.
Here are some neat photos my daughter took today along the loop drive at Saguaro National Park East.

Nice pics. You're about 5 miles from my house from Saguaro East.
