Not really sure where to post this....sightings, camping reports, news of the weird?
Over the weekend we camped at Interstate State Park on the Wisconson side. If you have not visited it is well worth the stop on either the Minnesota side or the Wisconson side. The potholes (seriously, look it up) on the Minnesota side are quite interesting and an easy walk along the beautiful St. Croix River bluffs.
About 2 miles west of the park in Schafer Minnesota is the Franconia Sculpture Park.

Open all year and free of charge world renowned artists come to create and exhibit in this 43 acre open air gallery.
When We stopped, all 4 lots were so full we had to park behind the staging area where to my surprise I saw this
Scamp that was either in a past or upcoming exhibit. Kinda hurt to see the little guy in this shape but who knows perhaps someone looking for a project could rescue it when they are finished.

Not only do I hate to see him sitting there all lonely but I don't get the art and I am an artsy fartsy eclectic kind of person!
