Scamp bed Question?

How long is the bed in a 1980 13' Scamp? I am 6'6' and I am worried I will not fit. Does any one know how long the bed is ?
Thanks.
Jason

At 6'6" you will have to sleep at a angle on the bed. Bed about 74" long

I measured our Scamp 16 the other day and I believe it was 78 inches on the non-wall end of the bed. I am almost 6'2" and my feet barely touch. Part of the issue is you generally don't sleep with your head against the wall and your feet do not sit perpendicular to your legs.

It's not an issue for me because I sleep on mys side in the fetsl position with my legs tucked up a little.

At 6'6" it may be an issue for you.

Keven,

Another issue of course is the ceiling. We bought a Scamp because I just fit standing up.

Jason, the difference may be where it was measured. The back wall, because of the curves at both ends is going to be shorter than measured at the front end, because the walls are flatter there.

BTW: Pre-fire Scamp 13' (Jan. 2006) are several inches shorter in height than those built post-fire (June 2006)

At 6ft I had to sleep at an angle in the Scamp 5th wheel.

Thanks guys for all your reply's! As always you are a great help! I am not concerned about standing up because I am moving up in campers from a teardrop.

Officially 2"... realisticly 1 to 1-1/2 " I"m not sure 6'3" was ever really accurate, maybe before flooring or ratfur and reflextix. In the prefire 13, I can stand up naturally and my head just touches the ceiling, In the post-fire 13 My head still touches if I stand up unnaturally straight. I'm 6'0" tall (officially)
