Tim, can you please give me a link to that information about the Letchworth Eggfest? I know the park and has been there years ago.. about 15 years ago.

For state park, as we found out recently, you have to pay campground fee, registration fee! And entrance fee! All three is too much.

Mark, I will find out more about it, there was talk of it when we were @ Sebring in Feb. Don't know the exact dates but when I find out I'll let you know.

We just got our first Scamp. We want to attend the rally in Sebring 2013. How do I know what camp sites will be for the scamp camp?

Sheila, I think at this point you will want to get any site that is available. They go fast and it really doesn't matter where you are, there is usually someone from the rally that is camped close by.

Sheila, I agree with Tim, there will be Scamps on all the loops so you can't go wrong with any site. We usually procrastinate and have to wait for any site to open up, but at least this year we reserved early.

Tim,
Will you be bringing your Parkliner to the Scamp Camp?

The 11-15 dates for Scamp Camp in Sebring are correct. Look for my post elsewhere for details.

Hey everybody is Irish on ST. Patrick's Day, You can carry this "inclusion and diversity" thing too far.
Hospitality is one thing, asking SOI to ofuscate it's very identity is quite another. Besides "egg gathering" would be excluding stick builts and tent campers anyway.
When we host one, it's a "ScampCamp" and we have members who show up in "R-Pods", motorhomes, and other non-Scamps.... heck their even non-eggs.
Sooo... what does NOG stand for?(or should I say indicate?)

I went to our first "Scamp Camp" in a Fleetwood Taos pop-up camper. Was welcomed just as much as if I had a Scamp.

Northern Oregon Gathering or as I prefer, Not Organized Gathering (which is different than a disorganized gathering ).

My comment about branding a organized campout, was really for those that are thinking about starting a gathering of some sort.

I wouldn't tell SOI what they should do, but when someone asks me about a gathering in Florida, I always tell them about a Gathering in Highlands Hammock. I can't get the words "Scamp Camp" to cross my lips and I OWN a Scamp.

YMMV
