One thing I like about the Scamp is their deluxe interiors. The bare white fiberglass looks nice on the outside but the wood seems to offer a nice touch inside. Why doesn't Casita offer something similar?

There's not a lot of white fiberglass showing. Cabinet doors, furnace, fridge, sink, stove top, etc. all take up space in the white fiberglass cabinetry. There's added weight with the wood cabinetry. I personally like the contrast and the lighter color.

I don't know why Casita doesn't offer all wooden cabinetry, but a phone call to Casita should answer that question.

It's pretty simple; they use different business models. Both are successful, and each caters to its own niche.

The base Scamp interior is like the Casita interior (in both cases, like the classic Boler/Trillium "egg") - only the Deluxe is all-wood. As Roger said, they've taken different approaches to upgraded models.

Escape uses wood cabinets, somewhat like the Scamp Deluxe, in all of their trailers. Escape's Reace is a member here, and might have some comment on that choice.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.
