Scamp Fever !

When it gets really cold (-40 with windchill tonight) I think about the scamp... but it was put in storage at our fairgrounds in Oct. It's cheap storage but we can't see it until early April

Isn't it funny how we all get 'withdrawal' from our little eggs! All I did was move mine from my back driveway to behind the garage. Now that it's hidden from view, I really MISS seeing it when I go out my door! But at least I can visit it whenever I want.

I thoroughly understand. Even though my trailer is parked beside the house, it's not exactly camping weather. Too wet, too cold, or too windy. I sit in the house beside the wood burning fireplace and dream of camping trips to come.... sigh.

Unhappy

"Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got 'till it's gone..."

I couldn't relate to you Northerners for a long time.

"It never rains in Southern California..."

But I went to the January Quartzsite Rally, and while in town was made an offer I couldn't refuse. A full exterior detail on the Fiber Stream for less than half of what I was quoted to have it done in California! Since I would be returning for the February Quartzsite Rally, I just left it for the month.

Now I am really Jones-ing to sit in it, and look forlornly at the empty concrete pad in the back yard where it usually roosts between outings.

Fred, it looked really forlorn sitting there all by it's lonely. We left town by the east highway entrance and noticed it sitting all alone. *sniff*

Every night I pull in the drive, see her peeking out from her parking spot and I just wanna load up and head out.

But, she's gotta a few tweaks needing done...like finding out why the converter blows it's fuse...before we can hit the road.
