Scamp owners how tall are you?

We are looking at purchasing a Scamp. I'm 6'1" and I am concerned about the sleepin quarters. Any input is appreciated.

New Scamps are taller. Old Scamps are shorter. My hubby is 6'1" which is part of the reason we have a Uhaul. He can stand in it.

Aaron, I think the only way you're going to find out for yourself is to find a trailer in your area to view and hopefully the owners will allow you to try out the dinette/bed. Some tall people sleep all scrunched up, others need to fully stretch out. Different strokes for different folks. What works for one, doesn't work for all.

Aaron,
I see that you live in Michigan, if you are not to far up I live in Toledo Ohio and have a 2009 16' Scamp that you could try laying down in.

You may also want to consider a EGGCAMPER, their interior is height and wide.

I am 6'2" and have an older (shorter) Scamp. I can't stand up straight in it, but I find the bed comfortable.

Check out the Casita Liberty. Its bed can be converted to a "king" that will be plenty long. (It's not really as wide as a king, but is surely long enough.)

THere are lots of examples of people your height who are comfortable in their Scamps, but not everyone is. We bought a 1-year-old 19' Scamp 5th wheel from a man who was about your height. He had plenty of headroom while standing and could sleep diagonally in the bed when he was alone, but felt cramped when both he and his wife slept together. They sold us their Scamp and were thinking about buying a Bigfoot to replace it.

I am sure it is very much personal preference. My wife is just 5-7 and gets claustrophobic in our U-Haul. Maybe it's the carpet on the ceiling?
