I know we have many other trailers on this site.
But I would like to know, which Scamps are more popular with campers on this site.

We have a 16' SD, but this is due to family size and tow vehicle. We like all 3 for different reasons, but love the SD.

I have a 16 SD because I'm lazy and I like to leave the bed made up and still have a place to eat.

A friend from my teardrop group has a 13' Scamp which inspired me to go look for one. Couldn't find one, so I lucked upon a UHaul... does my friend's count? (I haven't seen her on this board...)

13' Scamp - year 2001, purchased used in Oct. 2009. PO ordered the trailer unfurnished from the Scamp factory and customized the interior layout to his personal specs.
We are very happy with the current interior set-up. We find the Scamp fully meets our camping needs and functionality requirements at this time.

We loved our 13' Scamp but it was too small for what we needed it for. We were going for the 16' but for a little more money we decided on the 5th wheel and love it.

Will share THIS - I asked SCAMP and their take was that overall sales are about...
PER SCAMP
13' 45%
16' 45%
19' 10%
This Poll
13' 53%
16' 37%
19' 9%
I find it interesting that this poll is PRETTY CLOSE to Scamp's own information.

I think there's built in bias with this poll. I own a Scamp, proudly. BUT, at the time I was looking to buy, it wasn't the only choice on my radar. I knew I wanted an egg-shaped molded lightweight trailer. What drove my purchase, wasn't the brand, but my budget. It could have just as well been a Casita or Boler or... If one buys new, then typically the owner buys by brand, but not necessarily when buying used. YMMV

We love our 16' Scamp. Easy to tow, plenty of room. But, I do wish we had gotten the side dinette.

We have an older 16ft Scamp with side bathroom. It works well for most of our use except:
We travel each winter a couple of times (or more since we're retired) from Washington to California or Arizona for a week or two in the sun, then back. There is always one "killer" night in Oregon where it is too cold for comfort.
Also, occasionally there are several days where even in So. California or Arizona that the weather puckers up. The Scamp is marginal in the comfort area for staying in at that time.
I do have an idea of how I might add more insulation and make better sleeping, sitting arrangements, but may upgrade to a Big Foot of about the same size instead, since they already have those features.

Scamp 16' Deluxe with side bath and front sofa/bunks. Works well for our family of 4 (especially when the kids sleep in a tent!).
