Scooter

Does anyone got one of these? It looks like a decent item to carry along on a camp trip to use to get around a campground or whatever.
I saw someone on one recently and it looks like a lot of fun to use too.

This Youtube video gives a pretty good review.

Your question about riding one of these around a campground or whatever should include thinking about why the guy in the video had to modify his. These scooters are great on SMOOTH surfaces. If that is where you will be riding this might be a great option for you.

We travel with bikes and scooters because of my limited mobility. In my experience, for the varied conditions found when traveling, I need something that can handle more obstacles. Bigger tires roll over bigger bumps. I need power for hills. And suspension. Suspension makes a big difference.

There are a variety of choices to make like weight, portability, cost.

A scooter like this X Treme scooter can take you most places, but it is heavy.

We ride lighter Currie scooters, which are no longer manufactured, and others. If you want to know more about what I ride you can check my blog. I am a daily rider and own several different types.
