Trailer: want to build

A few years ago I saw a DIY program where a high school student bought a 2 small piece fiberglass trailer (just a shell, kinda like a scamp) and added what he wanted. As a class project. I would like just a shell and go from there.
Anyone seen such a trailer, blank nothing in it?

At one time, Scamp would sell blank slates. Only stuff inside was the closet across from the door and a support next to the door to the left. Both of those are needed to hold the roof up.

Otherwise, buy a used trailer in the size and shape you want and gut it. Just remember, on all you need something to support the roof. In other words, no building just a huge bed and nothing else.

LIL Snoozy will sell a shell in any stage. I considered doing this myself but my wife said we would never go camping. I suspect she was right...

Oregon is prime territory for finding what you are looking for as it rains a bit up that way and some FGRV owners just don't do preventive maintenance to keep the rain on the outside.

As a result it's possible to find one with water damage that the owner doesn't want to tackle. Unlike stick-builts, other than floor damage, there's really not much that water leaks can damage in the shell itself.

Start scouting those units you see parked along side of farm buildings and in fields that seem to have a lot of grass growing up around them and restart from scratch.

If you see a sticky like that, keep driving.....LOL

It's not the whole trailer, but here's one with a queen sized bed almost all the way to the door.
