Sebring's coming
Things will soon start to calm down as we put the Christmas celebrations behind us once again.
Looking forward into the new year... Sebring is right around the corner.
This is the 14th annual ScampCamp, since the founding of SOI in 1999.
Are you coming? Do you need information? What site are you on?

Floyd you don't mention which site you are on?
I just caved in and booked 81 which is evidently listed as a Tent only site and I am a little worried that I will not be able to fit there?
Evidently if I can get situated on the site it is not a problem even though it is listed as a Tent site and I am fairly sire I remember seeing one of us there each time I have attended?
Has anyone else been on that site that can give me the lowdown?
It seemed better to have any reservation and change if possible than not have one and try to squeeze in at the last minute.
I spoke to the Rangers several times but I just can not get a straight answer about how exactly they determine the site suitability or if there will even be room for my truck there if I can get the trailer on the site at all.
Anyone?????????
Also I am curious if Steve Mcadams will be there or if I should plan on shooting the picture again?
I am getting egg-cited about the trip either way I just hope I can fit y trailer somewhere.

We're on 77... Your site is large enough but it may have trees to work around. There is a site map... Click on your site # and you can bring up details, including photos...

Floyd
Thanks
Of course I have looked at the pics a hundred times but it does not give a good enough idea to really get a feel for it.
I think I have always seen Eggs in that row but again I would love to hear it from someone who did stick one on that site.
I can't understand where your car is supposed to go if the site is not even deep enough for a camper? Are you supposed to park the RV and then park the car next to it ?

What are you towing? That one picture shows tracks which should fit any egg. as for depth, I can't recall, but 78 was the gathering gathering place last year and I'm pretty sure there was a trailer on every available sight along that side of the road, but I can't be sure.
I guess we should take more pictures!
Try google earth!

I can't believe I didn't think of Google Earth but now I have looked ad I can't find any decent view of the campground there at all?
Maybe I will just bring a Chain Saw just in case.

Hi: Ed Harris... I'd say the chain saw and a very large "EGG LIFTER" will do it!!! LoL
I think you'll be ok... we OTOH have to wait till 2013/14 to attend.

I will be in site 121 Mon-Sat. at HHSP. I am spending the six days prior to Scamp Camp at Oscar Scherer SP near Osprey FL. With the cost of gas I am taking two vacations in one trip.

Site 88 came up empty today and I jumped on it and let go of Site 81.
Now I can relax a little and install that deck with Hot Tub I have been planning!

Hmmmmnnnnn ...
No mention of this in the Rally Calendar. I looked it up here: Scamp Owners International- SOI
Too bad it's during the week. Looks like I might be in Sebring that weekend. I'd love to take the time off and join in! Have fun all.

Ed;
If all goes well, Saturday the 12th.
It would be great to bring the Boler down and overnight there on the 11th and get to meet you folks.
I have to see how things shape up.
