The stripe seems to be original? The original brochures that came with the trailer show it with the blue stripe, but they are not dated, one shows the trailer hooked up to a Plymouth or Dodge Volare/Aspen and the other shows it hooked up to a Toyota Celica and a Ford Maverick... The guy I bought it from had it advertised as a 1979, but the registration says 1977, the kitchen is the same as the third picture in your link, no jut out and one drawer and cupboard under the sink, and the fridge is a RM211, I believe I read on here that the jut out didn't start until 1978, I'll snap a couple pics later today and post them for you to have a look.

Hi again David, here's a couple pics of my kitchen, I just replaced the original stovetop with a Suburban 3 burner model from Camping World (should of got it from Amazon, got dinged a $100 for duty and taxes..lol!) I was happy that it turned out to be the exact same dimensions as the original and dropped right in!, only had to manipulate (carefully) the propane line as the pop out hole was in the middle in the back of this unit and not to the far right as the original. I must say it is a major improvement to see as you enter, the original top got rusty and was repainted a chrome style silver paint....argh! Sorry, I can't figure out how to get those pics to upload properly....lol!

Well, Given your serial number, your kitchen, and the fact that the window in your door does not open, I am going to say you have a 1977, possibly 1976 Trillium 4500.

BTW is your blue stripe painted on, or is it a sticker?

The stripe is a sticker, and yes it is registered as a 77 so maybe this one was produced and sold in the same year, seems a lot have been registered as later models than they actualy are.

The whole point of this thread was to figure out what year of Trillium I bought. It was registered as a 1979, but I knew that was wrong.
http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...0-a-53654.html

Turns out it is a 1972.

Well it turned out to be a great idea to start this, shall we say registry, I actually found it trying to figure out if mine was an actual 77 or 79 as advertised. Your 1972 looks great! And the price was fantastic regardless of the year. Thanks for your hard work!

Another entry for you

Hi David & everyone else reading this!

Here's my data sheet & a few recent pictures. Unfortunately I don't have any good photos of the interior, but it does have the front gaucho. It also has a Coleman furnace even though this isn't shown on the data sheet.

Well Vince, looks like you were correct, your furnace is a PO mod. Nice job from what I can see.

Also, your trailer serial number is in a part of the list that is kinda lacking, so thanks!

I notice something above the propane warning sticker on the front of your trailer. That is were, sometimes, a sticker, that gives the manufacture date, is located. I don't suppose that is the case with your trailer, is it?

There is the remains of a serial number / date of manufacture sticker above the LP regulator, but no information left on it.

Here's a mystery for you David...I don't think my furnace was owner installed. The installation looks "factory" to me, including the copper tubing connections and holes for the tubing underneath the trailer. Also, I came across this ad for another Trillium with the same Coleman furnace my trailer has. You can see his data sheet shows no furnace either. My guess is these furnaces were dealer installed.

Trillium definitely installed Coleman furnaces early on. I have seen several of them installed. It may be that it was installed by the dealer, or Trillium just didn't do their paperwork.

I agree that it looks too good to be installed by an owner, but possibly they were someone with mad skills.

Too bad about the sticker.

I took a closer look at what's left of the sticker. There is still a small section left. I can see for Date Of Manufacture "April 197...". It also shows GVWR as 1500 lbs. Hopefully this is helpful.

Question: Re-fridge extension are u saying it is bigger on the later models?
The other item we need is a better tow car/suv hatchback style, what does anyone know about Kia or Hyundai?
