Thanks Dave for the update.
In the 5500 section, trying to decipher the numbers, looks like 3rd digit is 3 for a Deluxe model (shower, etc) and 0 for a Standard. This may have been mentioned before, I don't know.
The only trailer in the list that doesn't fit this scheme is V Bainbridge's, serial has a 0 and the trailer is a Deluxe. BTW this trailer, which has been up for sale for many months last year, is up for sale again by the new owner.

Barry and Kathy,
I went to your registery, your hatches in the top of your gaucho, and possibly your dinette hatches, look kinda rough cut. I have seen this before, but I am not sure if it is factory. On the trailer I saw this on before, the hatch covers seemed to be cut from the gaucho and they added a frame around the cut piece so it would sit in the hole in the top of the gaucho. They also added something to the underside of the hatch cover to make it stiffer. Like a layer of foam that they glassed over. Are the hatches of your dinette the same rough cut?

All 4 access hatches are very rough cut. Probably to fit water tanks or whatever underneath. Nothing at all underneath for support. The access doors beneath the gaucho have also been enlarged and rough cut right down to the floor.On a side note, we do have electric brakes minus the controller.

Dave: upon further inspection this afternoon, indeed we have what you have described. Looks like thin pieces of foam glassed over along the edges of the rough cut.
The cuts in the dinette are a similar size to each other. In the gaucho, one is bigger than the other, just like the doors are different sizes as well.

I think Trillium was trying something different with your trailer. Other Trilliums have a frame that is molded into the glass. A plywood cover sits in this frame. The one, like yours, that I saw, looked like the top of the gaucho was flat originally, then the hatches were cut. I can't understand why the cut was so poorly done.

Serial numbers on a Trillium
Hi Dave
I just looked at your list of Serial #s and was surprised to see my # and Scouter Dave's # are the same. My Trillium data is: 1976 13' model Ser.# is 13-1104007. This places my Trillium in the late '75- Early '76 production run according to the other '76 serials on the list. I believe it was sold new in Nova Scotia, Pictou area Dealer
It is off white with 3 way fridge,fresh water tank, front bunk. There is no furnace or power inverter. Power cord, city water & sink drain are on the road side. Water tank is curb side rear of the wheel, filler port and a 110v outlet are the only items on the curb side. I wonder if other '76 models have a similar layout.
Has anyone tried to find a former factory worker to ask them if they can shed some light on when major changes where made in production. I realize these people are getting on in years and have been retired for quite a while now. Any members know such a person ?

Tom Young is such a person. He was an employee of the Classic Trillium. Sadly, such detail is not so easy to recall after 40 years. He was in sales, not design.
With enough serial numbers, and pictures, we should be able to figure out that information. That is sort of the reason I started this list.
Identical serial numbers is a concern. Gladly, I can tell you that Scouter Dave's serial number is incorrect in the list. His is actually 13-1104084. I will fix it on the next revision.

Larry, A key requirement to put a trailer on the serial number list is, a serial number. I would also really appreciate pictures, inside and out. A picture of the data sheet that should be on the inside of the closet door really gets me excited. (I know, sad, right?)

He was just asking that you add 'front gaucho' to his entry.
