CSA #

I also have a CSA number, however it is not on a plastic medallion but is a silver, faded sticker on the trailer. Mine states: NOR (CSA) Z240

Hi I just noticed the posts about Trilliums from Greg & Tracy serial 1975 # 13-1103090 ,my serial # is 1976 13-1104007. Janice & Rick posted their serial # as 13-1104421 which is 1977 or 1978 (not sure ) It seems to be that the serial numbers just continued on year after year. I am curious about when the new model year starts and at what number was the change made. If enough owners send along their information the list may provide enough stats to allow us to answer some questions and determine when our own unit was produced. My trailer was also from Nova Scotia too. Pictou area when new. Just wondering ! Duane
p.s. Enjoy your campers in any case ! love mine !

Duane,
It would be very helpful if you could post links to the source of the serial numbers. That way, I can link to the information in the list. Thanks.

Cannot figure out how to flip these photos. They were right side up when I downloaded them.

Trillium Serial #'s

I would like to add our Trillium 1300 to the record:

1981 13-1126890, manufactured in Markham

It has a front gaucho, bunk beds intact, with a cut out in the bottom bunk to convert to a front dinette. It's white inside and out with orange stripes.
Interestingly, we found the data sheet stuck under the extension for the table, not inside the closet door as so many others seem to have.

81' Trillium 5500 serial numbers

my 5500 serial number is 55-3320116. Don't know how this all fits but I've wondered about how many of this model were built. My 5500 has wood cupboards, both front and back dinettes. Three piece washroom and a propane fridge and an electric fridge ( by the look of it, it's newer and the propane is original.)

Hi Wenda
Did you buy V. Bainbridge's trailer that was up for sale last year in the Sudbury area? If so, you just cleared up some issue I had with the list.
V. Bainbridge's trailer is already listed in David's list, but with a number that starts with 330. Now if it's that same trailer, and you say the serial number starts with 332, that makes much more sense to me.

You see, so far in David's list, all 5500s that have a 332XXX number are "Deluxe" models. This means they have a shower, hot water heater, larger fridge, oven, double stripes outside, etc. The "Standard" models don't have these, and their serial numbers start with 330.
The only 5500 on David's list that didn't fit this pattern was V. Bainbridge's. By looking at the pictures when it was up for sale, it clearly is a Deluxe model, but it was reported here as having 330116 as serial.
So if you confirm your number starts with 332, it all makes sense now, Dave will eventually correct the list, and this confirms - so far - that 332's are all Deluxes and 330s are all Standards.

According to the rumors, there was supposedly about only 65 5500s made. Then Trillium shut down.
But as you can see, some 5500s have serial numbers above 100 (mine is 104), so either the numbers we not sequential or there was more that 60-something made. There are not enough 5500 numbers on that list to draw any conclusions.

Hi, yes just ch caked my serial # again and it is 3320116. I did buy the Bainbridge trailer this past June but from Gord Henry who had purchased it from them. It does have all the deluxe features in it and fortunately for me in excellent shape. It would be nice to know how many 5500's were built though.
Thanks for you're response and info!

Sheila, That would be the most recent Trillium 1300 on the list. The cut out that you refer to is likely factory. After 1979 Trillium used the front dinette fibreglass for all the 4500's, and likely all the 1300's too. If it was a front gaucho, they screwed a piece of plywood in, to bridge the gap.

I would love it if you could post some pictures.

I have been "playing"with this trailer for a long time, and this is the closest I have come to finding something "official" about it.

I was getting ready to strip off a coat of paint and saw this painted over sticker leftover. I began tearing it off, and then thought about perhaps trying to see what was there, rather than simply destroying it.

At least I know that it is a real Trillium travel trailer, 13 feet, and it looks like the entire serial number thing hadn't kicked in yet. It looks like the serial number for this one is literally 13-6

1972 1300

Might as well give you some more data Dave.

1972
1300
SN 13 282
Green
Harvest Yellow int. (has been painted a terrible plum)
Front gaucho
Ice box
no heater

One thing I noticed is mine has a one piece frame. not two pieces welded together like everyone else seems to have.

She's up on blocks right now while the frame gets some new life.

Same as mine Reade.

The original paint would have been green exterior and a yellow/orangey interior. No Heater, probably only had an ice box - long gone.

The frame was one piece and amazingly strongly built. I suspect heavier gauge metal tubing than would be use now.
