Serial number and photos of 1980Trillium1300 for David

Hi, David. I got private message from you and here is what I could supply to you in my best. Within those datas, I wouldn't know for sure which is which??? All photos enclosed were "original" when I got it before tearing it apart for " fix-up". If you want more photos for your research, I would supply more in recent future. Have a nice day...

Randy, Thanks! nice trailer. I notice that the shelves above your dinette are the same aluminum and plywood construction as is used on the 4500's. As opposed to the molded fibreglass version that proceeded it. This is something that I think they started in 1979, maybe 1980. I may be biased, but I like your shelves because they have doors. The serial number I am looking for should be on a sticker on the inside of the closet door. It will be in the same format as below.
I am full of questions:
Does your trailer have front shelves?
What does the seat of your front gaucho, (couch) look like. Is it like a front dinette?
Dose the original, (Bargman L400) door latch work? I see that there is an additional one.
Is your fridge an RM360?
Is there a window in the kitchen?
Is there a furnace?
What is the model of your 120 to 12 VDC converter?

The list to date, (now in order of the four digit sequence number):
Chris:.......45- 1100711...'78 : Front Gaucho (Thank you Chris)
Francesca:45- 1100758...'78: Front Gaucho
Scot M:....45- 1100893...'78: Front Gaucho
David:......45- 1101043...'78: Front Gaucho
Unknown:45- 1121172...'79: Front Dinette (assumed)
Noreen:....45- 1121733...'81: Front Dinette

David: 13-.......609..........'73: Front Gaucho
David: 13-.......1105688...'77: Front 1/4 Bath
Spanke: 13-.....2205863...'78: Front Gaucho
Brett: 13-........1106227...'79: Front full bath

Hi, David. here are photos and some datas from the trailer. It has no front shelves, it's look is uniform with rear couch with leather? or vinyl bottom. The door latch works but previous owner lost his key and the additional one was changed the location by me. I also replaced rusty screws with aluminum rivets( you can see in photo). There is no furnace, but has 3way fridge and kitchen window. Hopefully these photos help...

Umm.... are you sure about the VIN? 13-1116743 is not what I would expect for a front gaucho 1300. The previous ones had a 220 in the place of your 111, but that might be due to the almost front dinette gaucho on your unit. The last photo on your post is almost exactly what I was looking for. If you could give a wider view, then I could see the VIN.

I think I found the add for your trailer:
ON (Canada) - 1974 - Trillium 1300 - $1800
What a great trailer! And a great deal! Your fridge looks to be a RM211, you have the kitchen window, and while you don't have a furnace, your trailer is set up for the Coleman forced air furnace. Not sure where you would find one of those. The fibreglass of the bottom of the gaucho is set up like a front dinette. This would make changing it to a front dinette fairly easy. At the same time, you also have a block of wood that the upper bunk fall prevention bar would mount to. I notice some kids toys in your pictures, If you have two kids, the bunk makes sense, but if you have one, then the dinette would work.
It looks like you will need to re-install your door. This is a common problem with fibreglass trailers.
Really nice trailer!

..Thankyou. The price of 1800Can$ is what exactly I paid after the ad was posted within 12hours. About the year of the trailer, I didn't pay attention because I woud bring her home and refresh her anyway. I do have 2 kids, but one of them is.... "heavy set". So, that's why I will try to remodify bunk bed for them to fit with all of their laptops, toys...with both power sources 12VDC and 120VAC, also cup holders and disc storage/mini tables for...each. Here is what I read in the piece of paper that you gave me the hint: Serial No, 13-1116743, GVW 1500lbs-680kgs, Issue no.(at right bottom corner of page: 380551. Enclose are better photos for you...

I noticed that in the ad, the year was advertised as 1974, how did you know it was 1980? The serial number puts it as 1979, or later.
As for the gaucho, the bottom bunk will support an adult, the top bunk is only good for around 45 kg, (100lbs).

The updated list:
Chris:.......45-1100711...'78 : Front Gaucho
Francesca:45-1100758...'78: Front Gaucho
Scot M:....45-1100893...'78: Front Gaucho
David:......45-1101043...'78: Front Gaucho
Unknown:.45-1121172...'79: Front Dinette (assumed)
Noreen:....45-1121733...'81: Front Dinette

David: .......13-1105688...'77: Front 1/4 Bath
Spanke: .....13-2205863...'78: Front Gaucho
Brett: ........13-1106227...'79: Front full bath
Randy:........13-1116743...'80: Front Gaucho (almost dinette)

Hi, David. I have two kids, a boy and a girl. The boy, the youngest, weighs 135lbs at age of 10, heavier and with bigger shoe size than mine. About the year of trailer, I just read it from the ownership card.

Hey, Randy!

When you say "ownership card", do you mean the registration papers you got with the trailer?

And if so:

Do they have the same number on them as the serial number listed on the papers you posted a picture of earlier?

Francesca

Hi, Francesca. Yes, I do. In fact, yes, it does. Here is what were written on my ownership card: Brand: None, Plated, V.I.N: 131116743...Made: Trillium, Model 130, Year 80, Body type: TV, Axles: 01, Colour: CRM, Veh Wt: 00480kg
As you can see, there is one the same serial number of the trailer as posted in earlier photos. FYI. Thanks.

Model 130, hmm.... My second 4500 was registered model 450 when I bought it. It is strange to me that they get this stuff wrong over the years. How many trailers have we seen that are labeled with the wrong year.

The ownership for my 13 footer described the model as 130 too.

My 1300's closet door sticker:

I may have missed it in the discussion- can you tell model year from the serial?
