Should have done it

Bought a Southern mattress a few weeks ago. We camped for 4 days and it is so much better . Should have bought this the first week I owned the Casita.

We had the regular cushions that come with the Casita and then added 2 inches of memory foam. The foam made me sleep hot which I hate ,
The mattress we ordered has 5 inches of high density foam 1 inch of memory foam and another inch or 2 of dense foam.Sleeps very comfortable for me .Not hot .

We had one in our 16 and purchased a second for the 19. As Ron said, 'not cheap' but we live just a couple of miles from them so freight wasn't an issue. Good product and good people.

We'll be in Sebring for the February Scamp Camp if anyone wants to come by and check it out.

Al & Cindy; a stop over at Jekyll Island would be nice on your way down or back. We are there for the winter.

We just might do that; its certainly not out of our way. I'll get in touch as our plans firm up after the first of the year. Are you folks at the campground there?

Yes, we are in the campground with our Casita. Other Scamp Camp attendees have stopped over here on their way down or back. You should make a reservation as the campground is mostly full in the winter with snowbirds in gigantic rigs, but I think they keep some sites open for short term campers. Sites are generally small and close, water, sewer, electric and cable TV hookups on most sites. The island is a unique place.
