Hey guys, hope you can help me out with your experience. I am going to look at a 1984 14' Burro today. I know nothing about small fiberglass RV's. Is this a good choice? Are they like Bolers? Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Anything I should look for while viewing it? (Hints)

Adam

Adam, I know nothing of the differences, I just wanted to suggest you take along the Buyers Check List, Buyers Check List.

Personally, I think any fgrv is a good one, And I think Burro's are sooooooo cute! Hope the check list helps you out. Good Luck! Robin

Adam, I just wanted to add, that there are a lot of Burro owners here (not sure if their on line today, to be able to help you) But I haven't heard of one that hates theirs. Robin

The first FGRV I ever saw was a 13' Burro and I fell in love with it! Too bad he wouldn't sell! I really like the side bath on the 17' and that big front window. But that's not what you're looking at. Good luck and take along that checklist! Interesting that a Burro made its way clear up to Canada!

Robin, couldn't resist, it's in the driveway !! Everything seemed ok. There are a few spider web cracks in the gel coat, the Burro stickers are missing, the rear window has been siliconed at the top and the seal that caps the seam from front to back needs replacing. Other than that the interior look like new (almost unused), the frame and floor are great and the outside should clean up great. I'll post pics as soon as I get the chance.

Thanks
Adam

PS- anyone know where to get stickers and the seam cover/pipping/capping or whatever it's called?

Adam:
I have access to downsized stickers. I'm currently at a campground in central Pennsylvania and will not have access to pictures and information for a month. I will relay the info to you then, if you like.
The local sign company has the stickers in their digital files and can reproduce them in no time.
They do a great job.

Does this mean Kathy is officially retired?
Way to go, you two. Being clear across the country with the freedom to do what you want? What Luxury! I am envious!
