1993 Kustom Koach 17-footer

I bought the 17' Kustom Koach that was on S.F. Bay Area Craigslist on 9/21/10. It was advertised as a '91, but the pink slip says '93. I'd never heard of this brand, made in Alberta by Travelaire. The interior is very similar to the '87 Bigfoot I had a few years ago. Build quality seems better than my Bigfoot. Exterior shell is molded in 4 parts: front/roof, rear, and two sides. Fiberglass seems very thick and sturdy. Seller says it is well insulated. No sign of any leaks...

Wow, that is SWEET!

Tell us a little more about the brick?

(I tow with a 1989 245 )

You know, I've always thought my Boler 13 looked too rounded behind my brick, but the extra length of the 16-footer makes them look great together. Hmmmmm....

Yeah Otto! Nice Rig! Nice wagon. Is that an 83, 4, or 5 ? Nice flathood conversion too.

How does the 16 footer tow? Do you use tow mirrors. What Raya said ... more info? Inquiring minds want to know !!

As for the Brick, that's not really the tow vehicle, but the color goes so well. Redwood is the garage queen.

One of the other bricks, with a turbo will tow it.

Oh, but I will tell you! She slept on the floor. The wife and I on the dinette/bed and Baby Quinn on the lower bunk (with a bed rail). And we still have the upper bunk for all of our junk (and it makes a great diaper changing table).

Ava (the German Shepherd) tried to get in bed with us a few times during the night... but it didn't work. We won't usually be taking her with us when we go camping... it was actually a last-minute decision to take her on our first Scamping trip. She doesn't mind staying with my parents (and her own momma dog and brother).

The more interesting part is driving a long distance in a subcompact with a baby seat and an 80 pound shepherd in the back seat. I think she only weighs 75 pounds when she gets out of the car... because she leaves behind about 5 pounds of fur.
