1967-70 K-line Mark 1 pop up

Hi All, this is such a fabulous site for learning and sharing. We brought home this undocumented K-line Mark 1 over 4 months ago on a whim and a hope. Just this week we got the official title etc. I can now share with you the joy and unbridled workload facing us with this boomer sibling to the Trailswest Campster and Hunter Compact. The K-lines were constructed in Red Deer Alberta for a few years only. It rolled the 5 hours home quite nicely but as you can see there is a bit of work to be done. As of writing we have put it to bed for the winter but are well into a modest upgrading of virtually all aspects of this well-storied piece of history.

Thanks again to all those who have shared their learnings with me on this forum. I look forward to adding to the knowledge base.

Kevin

Went from a 2013 13' to a 2021 16' #4 this past week. Drove about 5hrs one way to go get it. Barely used, there is still factory fiberglass dust in the cabinets!

Camping at Charbonneau Park Wa

We've been considering purchasing a different trailer but just haven't found one we like yet. So we're still camping in our modified 2006 Scamp 16. We flipped the axle and put on 14" tires to give us the clearance we need for the PNW.

Pictures of how you flipped the original axle on a Scamp would be helpful.

2006 Scamp axle flip

I hired the work at a local trailer repair shop. They also installed the step and a rear 2" receiver for a bike rack.

Mines the same color scheme! Funny thing is underneath a light I discovered it used to be pea soup green inside! Id like to repaint the interior dimpled interior a white but we’ll see the old yellow is nostalgic. Really like what you’ve done with yours
